About me
Michael Flebbe
Born an aviation enthusiast some 40+ years ago. And yes, photo is a few years old taken in the cockpit of TransAviaExport Ilyushin Il-76TD EW-78792 above Minsk in 2008.
Danish but living in Pretoria, South Africa since 2010. Before that I lived a couple years in Bolivia, which gave me good possibilities for interesting flights. Missed some chances, but noteworthy ones I did make included TAM Canadair CL-66B Cosmopolitan, Casa 212 and Xian MA-60.
Flights on Boeing 747SP, Tupolev Tu-134, Antonov An-12, De Havilland Dove, Brittan-Norman Trislander, Gulfstream III, Hawker Siddeley 125-700, Citation I, Junckers Ju-52 and Douglas DC-4 are among other memorable flights I have taken the last 10 years.
My first commercial flight was only in 1996 aged 22, so can't even bare to think about the things I missed while a youngster.
I have taken initiative to South African Aviation Adventures in an attempt to bring like-minded enthusiasts together in Johannesburg over a few days making chartering interesting aircraft somewhat more affordable by cost sharing.
